First in the series by Sharon Dinkins & Thorn Grafton. The poster depicts an umbrella-wielding grand marshal in a typical pose leading one of New Orleans' unique marching jazz bands. The umbrella not only adds impact to the marshal's "second-line" dance, but protects him from the city's dual weather pattern: Too much sun and too much rain. The nature of the series as a limited-edition silk-screen poster was established with this first print.
