Sixteenth in the series by Michael Atkinson. The Fiesta continued its romance with gas ballooning by hosting the 8th World Gas Balloon Championship and the poster reflected this dual nature by again being produced as a diptych (two part) image. The artist, whose work had been widely collected in the Southwest for many years, chose balloons and mesas as his theme, and executed it in characteristic architectonic fashion. Due to the artist's popularity and the growth of the number of Balloon Fiesta poster collectors, the signed edition was raised to 1,250 prints, which sold out before the end of the Fiesta.

an unsigned numbered edition of 2,500 matched hot air / gas paired prints measuring 14" x 24" (Gas) and 24" x 24" (Hot Air)
